You can cut almost anything if you cut the plastic shield off near the head. I can cut 1/2" brush and 4' tall weeds so fast you can't believe it.

The downside: You must wear safety glasses and you will be covered with sap and green slime. I don't care since it would take weeks to trim our pasture electric fences if the shield was on.
