What’s corn silage going for in the feild this year?? 4.33$/Bu (cash price at local elevator) x 7$ = 30.30$ per ton? I don’t see many farmers going for that. I see it as they will price it like dry hay and it’s anyone’s guess. Try and get some payments made. But on the flip side we had lamb feeders sell for 1.55$/# this year so it’s ruff on both sides right now. But I’m sure neighbors don’t care. Last year we seen corn silage anywhere between 65-80$ a ton. | |
