Check with the FSA. They have a cost share rate for mowing CRP. It's been awhile here but seems like $14-16 rings a bell last time we did it.
Our 580 reads 5.5 gph pulling our 30 foot Schulte. How much does that 150 hp tractor cost to save 1-1.5 gph? Not everyone has the money to buy a different size tractor for all the jobs.
Stopped because I did get a flat tire yesterday. Just not mowing CRP and not custom rate.
Glen, are those hydraulically driven fans to keep the chaff/fodder off the mower ? |
