2 comments I strongly disagree with.
Deere pulling their discounts. Now why in the world wd they do that and lose a sale? They want market share.
Mother Deere will smooth it over. Excuse me? This is the wildest one yet. Why shd Deere help out a dealer who made a mistake? If they're going to help every dealer who allowed too much on a trade they wd be broke themselves.
It will be interesting to know "the rest of the story" someday.
I agree, Deere does whatever is needed to keep market share. But eventually the stupidity is going bite them in the ass. I don't know. It's not likely they will lose market share on this deal. I mean there's no competition that's going to offer anywhere near the deal he says he had. Nowhere close. I think he mentioned something about Sloan, another Deere dealer. I'm guessing this guy is in so deep with Deere they have him(or whoever signs the check) over a barrel. It would be interesting to know the whole story.
