It’s of course not correct oil, grease. I ran a stalk chopper gear box for decades. 6 RN 1000 pto I added 90-120 *80-90 recomended*. And I put in +10 pumps of multi grease before start each year. Do 50-90 acres. Next day dump in gear oil as needed before start.
Messy, but sold it when I bought a 8 row unit working condition.
