Bremen, KS | After upgrading two combines from sealed beam/halogen bulbs to LEDs, I think the light temperature will make a big difference. In other words, the closer to white the light is the better it will cut through the dust. The LEDs I installed were closer to 5000k. Lower temps down toward 2700k will tend to be reflected more by the dust.
Rather than a light bar like that I preferred to replace the factory lamps with LEDs that fit in the original locations such as those available from Larsen, Tiger, and others.
The downside of LEDs is that they will likely interfere with radio reception. | |
