WC MN | Little slow reading your reply, just an update, still plenty of junk spring wheat trying to be harvested, sprouted, poor falling numbers, wet, $2.50/bushel discounts. Locally you have to have dry wheat and present a sample then wait two days for falling numbers etc, in other words will have to store or haul to an elevator willing to dry this junk and find a home for it. When/if it drys out enough, burning might be an option.
We have tiled through tasseled corn, ten years later I've almost forgotten the trauma ;-) Even if you have to get a smaller head to harvest beans between tile lines would still be better than fooling with wheat. We don't have a tile plow, plenty of farmer plows sit for years waiting for time or labor to tile.
