| From what I understand he did approach both parties, I don’t know which was first but it wouldn’t surprise me that it was the dems as he had previously considered himself a dem. The dems rejected him again. When he approached Trump he was surprised that Trump actually wanted to listen to what his concerns were even if he didn’t agree with them. Listening to others is what a true leader does. There isn’t a leader out there whose philosophy is 100% correct but they will never even know it if they ignore valid concerns of others.
That inability to listen to others with different viewpoints is very evident with the dems. They preach inclusion and acceptance of others but in practice they have a strong tendency to just berate, insult, label, and ostracize anyone that has different viewpoints. Listening is not their strong point. Their actions are the opposite of what they preach. It is even very evident in the exchanges that happen on this site. | |
