I thought we were talking about Minnesota?

Yes, Iowa is a record. Assuming the crop tour numbers are correct, here’s my rough math

USDA
Minnesota - 7.55M acres harvestable corn - 185 yield - 1.4B bushel
Iowa - 12.55M acres harvestable corn - 204 yield - 2.56B bushel
Total bushels - 3.96B bushel

Pro farmer
Minnesota - 7.55M acres - 157 bu/ac - 1.24B bushel
Iowa - 12.55M acres - 200 bu/ac - 2.51B bushel
Total bushels - 3.75B bushels

Not a massive discrepancy, but still a deduction of just over 200,000,000 bushels of corn. Assuming that’s true that would bring our carry out down to roughly 14.9B bushel, which feels better than being 15B +

Take that 260 million and let's say Illinois is 215 instead of 225 which I think is still to high and we can add over another 100 million to that tally
