| Crops in this area are taking a turn for the worse. You see a lot more yellowing corn everyday. Beans are showing stress on lighter soils too. With the forecast that's coming (hot and dry), I see top-end bushels continuing to be shaved off both. Personally, I do not think there is any way that Illinois hits a 225 bushel average on corn. We are in a higher production county that has looked pretty good all year. We can thank the USDA for being too fast on the trigger to predict all these record crops. In the meantime, they destroyed the markets.
