Also have healthy looking corn plants here in Hancock Co. Illinois that weren't sprayed with fung., but a pretty dry June has seemed to help keep tar spot and GLS in check here. I do pick varieties with decent tar spot and GLS tolerance ratings, and was mostly in full tassel in late June, so most ears are well into dent.
After last years derecho, realizing it's not in the bin yet, but yeah, much of Illinois looks to depress the price outlook for a while. Sorry bout that. | |
