Subject: Undivided share with owner using farm manager

EC IL
We have a farm my dad owns 50/50 with another undivided. Other owner passed it down to his heir and they want to use a farm manager.

Given the farm is undivided can the farm manager really do much?
Like force us into cash rent or demand a different seed company or farming practice we don't do?

I'm just assuming they'll market the heirs crop and that's all they can do? If they want anything different they'd have to start the process of dividing out the farm right?
