| It’s very simple on an iPad.
When you’re done typing your message, hit the button “upload files or pictures”
Then click on the box (its blue on my Ipad) that says "upload a file" Then either select "photo library" or "take photo or video" if you want to take a picture to upload.
If you selected "photo library" it takes you to the photos on your Ipad. Scroll through your pics until you find the one you want and tap on it to select it. Then hit "add". After the photo loads either add more or hit the button "I'm done uploading attachments"
