Seneca Kansas 66538 | Farming river bottoms has it perks and also difficulties as everyone knows. One of the problems we experience is erosion on the banks along the river where there are large curves in the river. I’ve seen Jetties laid in to prevent erosion and they seem to work well. Where does one go to find information on construction and information on what is to build to prevent this erosion. When the river is taking 20’ a year it’s hard not to devise a plan to prevent it from taking even bigger slabs each year. Thanks for any advise and input. | |
