Owens Cross Roads, AL | I pulled these two at the end of the row next to my sweet corn patch. This field is irrigated and normally I wouldn't post a picture of beans at the end of the row but the pods hanging caught my eye. My son counted the pods on the best plant, didn't count any one bean pods. The total number was 1001 two and three bean pods. Didn't have any four bean pods on the stalk.
This field was planted April 25 at 120000 seeds on 15" spacing. Beck's 4030e variety that had a pgr applied along with molybdenum and boron. Too bad the rest of the plants only have 10 percent of the pods. Wilson
