Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | My section Area/hr test does not require a working flow meter. In fact the engine doesn't even need to be running.
It sounds as if you have problems with the section wiring. My test would not cure that problem but would confirm it. What type of section valves do you have?
There are various types of section valves that utilize 3 wires. TeeJet has one style that has a constant 12V source, a constant ground and the third wire is the trigger to inform the ball whether to open or close. TeeJet also has another style referred to as the polarity reversing style. With that valve a pair of wires is 12V and ground to open the valve and that pair becomes ground and 12V to close it.
Using one style of valves with the other style wiring does NOT work. |
