I use a string tie soil sample bag. Load the drill, weight the bags and write their tare weight on them in grams. Get the drill set where you think it belongs. Put a bag on each drill section. Measure the distance off the chart and drive that far. Weigh the bag in grams and that equals pounds.

It can be frustrating, but just get it close and it usually comes out closer than you would think. Keep in mind if you have replaced cups on an older drills the new cups are going to read different if they are mixed.

I can’t find my chart, I have a paper copy in my desk. 7.5” drill is 155ft I believe.

There’s balance type scales they sell online with their own chart that are really handy. You can check bu weight and fertilizer density with them also.
