1) never said you were in favor of tariffs, simply explained how tariffs play a part in inflation, something that the majority on this site can't grasp.

2) so are you claiming that the natural gas well heads freezing in Texas did not cause a problem? The electrical transmission line system has not had any major upgrades in fifty years all the while electricity demand has almost doubled. Please tell me when was the last time a main transmission line was wiped out and the system was not able to reroute power around the downed section.

3) about 4 hours but then that was caused by a local line going down not a transmission line going down, and I also own my own standby generators and have direct wire connections to power my necessary items. But then when the power goes out stored gas at the station doesn't do you any good, now does it.
