Roseglen, North Dakota | I made the remark on here the other day that we sold corn not too many years ago for 2.65. Don't remember basis at the time.
So someone suggested we shdnt be growing corn in a "fringe area" (this has been wheat country for years) because the basis is so poor.
Well, today get a mass text from local elevator telling us they were able to "improve" their wheat basis to -.95! It was worse.
Ironically, corn is "only" -48.
Nearly every commodity is in the dumpster at present time.
