Subject: RE: Raven 460 help needed again

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Here's another explanation.

Let's suppose you removed the 460 and wanted to use it with a single boom sprayer.

Since the 460 has no section switches you would need to create one. You would run 12V to a common switch. One wire on the output terminal would lead to the section valve. Another wire on the the output terminal would lead to the Raven harness and splice on to the Black wire which leads to Pin #6. This pin is associated with Section 1.

Then when you flipped the switch ON, 12V would lead to the section valve to open it AND 12V would also feed back into the 460 to inform it that section 1 is ON and to use the width associated with section one to calculate the area and applied rate.

If you had a two section sprayer, you would need another switch. Its output would lead to section valve #2 and splice onto the Brown wire in the Raven harness which leads to pin #2. This pin is associated with Section 2.

Hopefully this makes the wiring layout clearer to help with troubleshooting.
