Yes, we still do! Not as often, nor as big a group as in the old days, but maybe once a month we get some of the kids and their families home. My wife loves to cook, so it's a big meal. Usually roast beef, ham or pork, or roast turkey. Mashed potatoes. a couple of vegetables, dessert, the whole bit. It's a lot of work but we really enjoy having dinner together. My favorite? Probably ham ( we have our own), mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed corn, lima beans, and one of her home made cakes.
Guess we're sort of unusual. It is not common anymore.
