Subject: Sunday Dinner Revisited

Northern Indiana
I miss the times when Sunday Dinner was more common and so was company. Sme of the best memories I have are from dinner at church or at someone else's home. Now it's traditional for us to eat out, and sometimes it's with others from the church. On the occasions when we do eat at home it's simple food - sandwiches or something. Here's my challenge: I am a pastor, which means Sunday is a work day for me and is supposed to be a day of rest away from routine or unnecessary work. So, there's no way I can get home in time to throw a lunch and have company. Our only option is during the week. My question is do any of you still practice that tradition, and if so, have you scaled it back any so there isn't so much work involved? Is company common around your table or is it mostly just your own household? One more - what is your favorite Sunday meal, if it's home-cooked?
