The 4840 with the cab. The Air Conditioner system on those tractors are simple and straight forward. Plenty of aftermarket stuff to keep it cooling. Just don't let JD start working on that AC. I spent the afternoon mowing with our old 4840. I dI'd have to top the freon off as it hadn't been done since last summer. It was nice and cool mowing with outside temp near 100.

Absolutely true. Mine needs a new compressor, dryer,……… . When it was right and I’ve replaced it several times over the years, running it on low was more than good enough.
