| Where's building inspector? Should be never went to first pour without footing inspection. Second the pad is bad, it all needs to red tagged. Pulled out at expense of contractor, replaced. I've seen this crap way too much in public works. Problem is elected officials i.e. school boards, school superintendents, county commissioners for the part don't understand construction engineering. So things get rubber stamped to get cousin Eddy a local job.
What's probably sad about this project is most likely donated money to put a green house for FFA. Will get built, used for a couple of years. Instructor will turn out to be bipolar, will refuse to use green house. Will sit in disrepair. Instructor will get fired, new one hired. Then start process again by selling off old green house for pennies on the dollar. Then come to public to fund a new and better green house.
The corruption runs deep. Went though that here in our community. | |
