Central Mo | I am one that has been dealing with elevating psa level for 7 or so yrs. Had 2 biopseys early on, dr I use doesnt start with an mri when numbers are questionable. I requested the mri last time. Have had 2 second opinions and both said mri first so you know where to concentrate the biopsey.
Had my yrly blood draw last week, got the dreaded call it had gone from 4.7 to 6.3. My actual drs appt is about a month away to discuss the next move.
Have seen on hear about a digital scan, mri, petscan to be used to find the lesions. Am I thinking wrong to start with one of thise, biopseys arent all that bad, could do without em tho.
I would also like to ask, how many here have lived with an elevated psa, say 7-8 and above. Fyi, my dad had prostarate cancer. | |
