Add in that cow sales are capital gains so optimizing dollars in this dept store worth more than ordinary income. That includes if you can walk corn off the farm. It’s fine print but gov won’t sent you a thank you for paying the higher rate. We lucky to be able to isolate by pastures cows by ages, that really help. We actually run a bull with.the kill cow specials. Keeps them from riding ect. He is our spare bull if something goes wrong he comes out of retirement. Otherwise he goes with the cows. Merchandise that bull that’s good but getting to the end of his useful life. Saves having to find on on short notice. Lastly we try to sell a cow one year before she is used up.
Two guys were talking about me. One said never buy a cow off him. Cause if she was any good he would keep her. There are exceptions but statement has a lot of truth.
