The speed is prominently displayed on the driver's screen in front of the yoke. Because there is almost no feedback, you need to constantly look at the speedometer. 
Here's an idea: You try it and get back to us. 



no feed back ? you must not be able to gauge from looking at the country side going by in a blur or a snail pace how do you people live life. Oh forgot everything has to be auto steer or drive for people to live now days


I've never been in a Tesla, but when driving ANY smooth riding vehicle that has plenty of power, it's quite easy to be going way over the speed limit while looking at the road and the scenery instead of looking at the speedometer.

I use cruise control most of the time and would not like a vehicle that argues with me as to what speed I should set it at. lol
