It’s been a lot of years now, but I remember when our youngest was going through this they wanted to know our financial stuff. It irritated me because the value of your house ,(and possibly vehicles?) didn’t count against you but land, farm equipment and assets did. So basicly the people that spent all their money on a big $500000 house didn’t have that count against them.
