Western Oregon
Corn on the cob with sliced tomatoes. Potatoes and sweet potatoes are baked, whole with skins or once in a while wedges with seasoning on the fire. I like wild rice pilaf.

I have to watch wheat flour. I had a bad inflammation problem and went total off it but the last few years I will have some egg noodles, rarely. Worse thing is processed foods for me so I quit them 100%. We try to eat 98% homegrown, plain, simple, very little added. Pepper and a little sea salt added after cooking. Lot of it raw, fermented and sprouted or baked. Fry pan with a touch of butter. No deep fat fried foods. Broiled or grilled fish. Whole baked chicken. Red meat is mostly lean elk or venison burger. A little smoke, pepper and sea salt is all it needs....James
