Subject: RE: Skid Steer as a forklift?

Leesburg, Ohio
We have three skid steers, and 2-3 sets of pallet forks for them.

BUT, the forklift gets used at the shop and main lot many times more than the skid loader and pallet forks.

Skid loaders are not designed to lift and handle heavy pallets or pro boxes full of seed, and they cannot safely lift them very high at all.
And a skid loader bucking around on a concrete floor with a heavy load inside a building is going to damage something or someone, just a matter of time.

I agree with the adjustable wrench comment above. Will it get the job done? Maybe. Is it the right tool you can depend on that is safe and works every time? No.

GET A FORKLIFT. PERIOD.
