Poor mans alfalfa.

You should be excited about it's regrowth!

I would try to put it up as dry hay next week if it was me while its supposed to be nice and hot!

If the cows don't eat it this winter, don't worry. Feed it the next winter and they will probably lick the ground clean for it.

Lot of the time second cut clover turns black. Looks awful, but the cows will love it next year. Or at least has been my experience.

I'm in Macon County. Not sure how far away you are, but green hills of Misery you surely aren't too far.
