NWMO | I would agree that the weather was conducive to pollination locally, and I’ve been surprised to find quite a few ears with pollination issues. We typically see some of it every year, but has been noticeable this year. Will it make a dramatic yield difference? I don’t think so, but I found it interesting as nice as it’s been.
This picture is on a very well drained and irrigated 60. This was taken from under the pivot. Popcorn isn’t always perfect, but this is a bit excessive compared to normal
