western wi | First of all, howa guarantees sub moa accuracy, so before you give it away, don’t. Tare it down and check all screws for torque. Including mounts and rings. Are the rings a matching set or have they been lapped? I’ve had guys bring $2000 scopes in my shop with $25 rings that weren’t precision or lapped. Check all that first, than start paying for new ammo. I’ve had good luck with Norma ammo in howa barrels. Sierra would be my next choice. If you can’t figure it out, my email is good.
