Well said sassy. Hopefully others are figuring out how to use this site and who to pay attention to and who to ignore. Some just constantly whine and moan about their crop when it’s actually really good, in hopes of making others think it’s bad so the market will go higher. So sad that they do this every year. Took me a few years to figure out who’s who, but when you get it dialed in it’s a really good indicator. N MO crops look really good from what I’m seeing and hearing.
Yes crops do look good. Not as good on beans as a week ago.
This is true of a lot of southern Iowa and much of Missouri. When it dries out in the summer, sometimes July, sometimes August, you are only 3 days away from a drought!
There are exceptions of course on the good bottoms and excellent deep soil areas.
The big Missouri bean yield isn’t even close to in the bank. Takes some rain. |
