Southwest Missouri | Alfalfa small squares baled a week tomorrow did have preservative applied to it, just the stuff you mix with water not acid. Guessing it was 25+ on moisture when baled was going to rain so we baled. Been checking temperature every day made it to 112 degrees today hottest it's been yet. I've drove a 3/8s rod down in stack left for 30 mins pulled it out checked with pointer thermometer seems cooler down low where no air is. Get them out of there or leave them? Only 500 bales. | |
