Yes, several companies are making them with various tweaks. Probably to get around original patent????? We also use ours on dirt turnrows, field roads and just about anywhere you get the surface messed up. They don’t like grass(especially the factory models, too little clearance) nor will they do much anything in just one pass. However, they also don’t normally screw up a road, even with an inexperienced operator. I’ve used them to put a really slick finish on yards before sodding.

FYI, you can control depth with top link. A hydraulic top link is even better!
