Subject: RE: Nurse Trailer to Sprayer Question

we have a filter on the discharge side of the transfer pump on our tender trailer. I have 50 / 80/100 mesh screens for it but normally run 50 mesh. Sprayer has an 80 mesh filter between pump & booms then 100 mesh screens on boom section, no nozzle filters. Ive had no issue running dry ams thru the transfer pump or sprayer filters. I do have a separate 2" pump on the tender trailer that is used to agitate ams & chemicals as they go into the inductee.

Not sure what you're spraying but I had issues with a hard yellow crystal plugging the boom screens this spring when spraying Fierce MTZ. I've sprayed Fierce MTZ for several years and this is the first year I've had issues. It got so bad I was plugging screens every 60 - 70 acres. Most clay based products I do use Dawn dish soap in the spray solutions.
