Subject: RE: Camping isn’t what it used to be.

Wallis, TX
We started camping in our early 30’s. Rented a cabin, then a trailer and decided to buy a trailer. It was a nice, almost new trailer that we bought for $.50 on the dollar. The owner just couldn’t handle it and wanted out of it. Behind my new F350 crew cab I bet you would have said the same about us. But, with small kids it was the way to go. We could go on vacation and afford to stay two weeks and take long weekends.

Fast forward 30 years my wife wants a”princess” vacation, fully furnished cabin or hotel and eating out. As said, to each his own.
