northeastern Ohio | SpiroMax top unloader arrived yesterday. Started putting it together around 9am and had it running at 4pm.
Takes 12 minutes to make a full round. About 2 ton silage per inch. So if I take off 1 inches per round, that is 6 minutes for one ton. Manufacturer wanted to see how this worked. Don't want to push it too hard on the first try. Can change the pulley to make it go around faster.
This is the first 30' they built, so I am the guinea pig. I won't fill the silo until September, so you will have to wait until November for a video of it throwing silage. Here's some pics
