| Vertical integration have anything to do with it Supply and demand not relevant in this discussion. If a few control the pigs. They control the narrative and the price. They don’t want my pigs or anyone else’s in this area. Only contract with them owning. If it was free market then individual producers could add to the pork numbers and lower the price whatever California votes on. Maybe it’s just a Indiana thing. Social guilt. Lol
