I watch people drive 4 miles to the other side of town to save a penny on a gallon gas. Rebates make people think they did something financially savvy. They go to Menards and load the cart with $100 dollars worth of refrigerator magnets, cup holders, and miscellaneous other junk and "save" $11 dollars.
