Southern IA
I have a 22 crew cab long box with a bale bed on it. 6 speed transmission. It pulls just as well as all the old diesel pickups I have had over the years. No big deal to set the cruise at 60 with a loaded trailer. Feeds cows, hauls hay, and a 24' steel livestock trailer very regularly. I have never reset one of the trip meters since I have owned it and in 55000 miles it reads 10.1 average MPG. In the brief time before the bale bed the best i got with it was 16.9 empty on the highway. Regularly gets 12-13 empty now and around 8 loaded. I have been very happy with it and dont see the need to own a newer diesel.
