SE Wisconsin | I would recommend an inline bale wrapper. Single bale is useful in small batches or if you really want to preserve feed quality... but it uses twice the wrap an inline machine does and probably twice the amount of time....
This year has been horrible for making dry hay. We didn't have three dry days in a row from April until Mid July.... so all the hay we made had two day windows... We made 600 bales in tubes... otherwise we would not have been able to make the hay.
If you are looking at $15-$16k for a budget... save a little more and find a $20k used machine. We found a used H/S inline machine for $20k and have used the heck out of it this year. been awesome | |
