Draxxin is or has to be thee most overused antibiotic in cattle right now. Pinkeye, footrot, respiratory, scours, prophylaxis in high risk/long hauls….

Edit: resistance is out there because of its ease of use and low dosage rate…. Just cause you haven’t used it doesn’t means the neighbors across the fence didn’t use it… a lot….

Better to swab the eyes and send samples into the serotyping lab to know if moraxella Bovis or boviculli strain your dealing with and its susceptibility or resistance to the antibiotics you are treating with.
