| Putting my mother in the nursing home as I type this. Not where I wanted her to be and sure not where she wants to be but she can't take care of herself any longer. 2 falls in 1 month, one of which was 3 days after being released from rehab. Finding he in a puddle of blood in the living room floor was the final straw. She is making friends, eating better, participating in activities and asking to go home every day. Hope your dad adjusts well and knows you are doing what is best for his health. Nice looking stone, very personal. I am thinking cremation and blending my ashes in a load of fertilizer and being spread over the home farm. | |
