Why?

Maybe they do, but the answer to that question is to try to associate dementia/ Alzheimer's with taking any one medicine or any class of medicines. Then you have to try to figure out how to eliminate the confounding effect of the condition/disease the drugs are being taken to treat. If someone goes without treatment and dies earlier, they would avoid some years when they had the potential to develop dementia….not an easy thing to parse out.

I think most folks don’t take any more drugs than are required to maintain their health. Hope so anyway!

About the only one that would stick out is if a drug was associated with early onset Alzheimer’s. Still have the problem of the disease that was being treated being a confounding factor.
