I have crosses, mostly crossed Hereford with either black or red angus, have had some Charolais crosses, Limousine few Simmental, Simmental IMO are long red haired Holstein's with the brains knocked out, most problems I had with prolapses were with purebred Limousine by far. I will say the Herefords usually have kind of an older look whether they are or not, but they are a way to get a little bone and width on the angus while staying with an english breed rather then a continental breed.
