from the EIA site.. https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&s=W_EPOOXE_YIR_NUS_MBBLD&f=W
We’ve averaged 1,034 bbls per day for the 46 weeks reported.
1,034 x 42 = 43,428 gallons per day / 2.9 = 14,975 k bu / day x 7 x 46 = 4.822 billion bushels ground.. more or less to date.
WASDE https://www.usda.gov/oce/commodity/wasde/wasde0724.pdf
so 5,450 forecast - 4,822 done = 628 to go / 6 weeks = 104.67 million bu / week or.. 1,032 k bbls per day.
We did 1,106 /day last week.
So yes.. we will quite probably exceed the WASDE forecast.
edit to add.. ethanol stocks are lower than a year ago.. were in the summer driving season.. we’ve added plants (again Colwich just fired up out here..) and they are making $$$$
we have the capacity to do 1,178 bbls per day.
Why would they NOT grind flat out (unless they couldn’t source the corn) with margins this good?
