indiana | What about basis contracts? Set basis and deliver , but futures hasn’t been established and the grain is in the commercials hands. And to be clear , I never deliver on free DP. Also what about forward contracts? The grain hasn’t been delivered but it is on the books. I’m probably crazy because I think delivery on free DP is poor business because you have given up ownership without payment. But in the big picture does it really affect price that much? | |
