Subject: RE: Tetnaus

Townsend, Montana
Before my time, a neighbor up the road stepped on a nail in the corral and died from tetanus, or so the story goes.

20 years ago my great uncle (late 80s at the time) stepped on a nail in the corral. Went all the way through his foot. He was too stubborn to go to the doctor. Healed up just fine and lived to be 97.

I haven't had a tetanus shot since grade school and I'm not worried about it. At least 50% of my scars happened in possible tetanus rich environments. Maybe I should be worried, but I am of the opinion that when it's my time to go, it's my time to go and there is nothing I can do about it.
